Grasslands National Park

Head into Canada from eastern Montana and you’ll find yourself in the province of Saskatchewan, which is home to two of Canada’s National Parks. Today’s highlight is Grasslands National Park, which covers over 900 square kilometers of, you guessed it, prairie grasslands!

While there may not be towering mountain scapes, or fast flowing rivers within the park, there is the opportunity to visit one of just a few areas of generally undisturbed dry mixed-grass prairies in Canada. Enjoy one of the many hikes that are available in either of Grasslands National Park’s two blocks (east and west) to get even closer to the flora of the grasslands.

Additionally drive the Badlands Parkway and Ecotour Scenic Drive or perhaps truly enjoy a dark night sky with a night of camping within the park. Whatever your goals are for your trip, get in touch with us to design your journey!
