Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Covering over half a million acres across two states, Great Smoky Mountains National Park was the busiest US National Park in 2024, getting nearly 2.5 times as many visitors as second place. Whether your goal is driving to see the sights, hiking all levels of trails, camping or a mix of all of the above, you’ll find it at Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
With nearly 400 miles of roadways through the park, you could spend several days just driving around and stopping at pull outs to see the views. Over a third of those miles are unpaved roads (146 miles)! There are also nearly 900 miles of hiking trails, including the Appalachian Trail (74 miles of which exists in the park).
It’s fair to say that seeing and experiencing Great Smoky Mountains National Park takes a fair bit of planning to do it efficiently and thoroughly, which are things we pride ourselves on, so get in touch with us to design your next journey!
