Voyageurs National Park
Head up to the top of Minnesota and you’ll stumble upon the 218,000 acres of Voyageurs National Park. That acreage takes on a vastly different appearance depending on the season though. In the winter, as you may expect, activities include snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling.
On the contrary, summer visits include the full gamut of water and hiking activities. In the summer all three visitors centers are open, as are many miles of hiking trails. Whether you’re looking for a 10 minute hike adjacent to a visitor center, or a multi-day hike, Voyageurs National Park has it all.
If water activities are more your speed, there are 30 lakes that are host to 54 different species within Voyageurs National Park! Looking for a unique experience? Visit the park off season for their annual Boreal Stargazing Week! Whether by land or by sea, we would love to help plan your next trip to Voyageurs National Park, so let us know how we can make that happen!
