Great Basin National Park

Great Basin National Park, a remote park in Northern Nevada, is worth the adventure to reach it, whether it’s the breathtaking dark night skies or the 13,063ft summit of Wheeler Peak that captivates and draws you in. The ancient bristlecone pines are another fabulous reason to visit as these trees are some of the oldest living things in the world. One famous tree on Wheeler Peak was dated at 4,900 years old!
